My name is Kerry Jepsen,  

The Back Lot is my blog. 
I graduated with a B.A. in Journalism from Plymouth State University in 2013. During my undergrad, I wrote exclusively for the Arts section of the university newspaper, "The Clock". Most of my submissions covered local film fests, student films, and the latest editions to the town's local theater.
I will not tell you I love film. That just seems redundant. I will tell you that I love how a film can affect a person, good or bad—articulating how a movie makes you feel into words is cathartic. And, so, I've made this blog, The Back Lot. It's merely my thoughts, my diary of media intake. I hope you enjoy.
